HR Advisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Advisor to join their remote team, supporting operations in Cardiff and across the UK. This role is crucial for providing day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, ensuring smooth HR operations and compliance with all relevant legislation. You will handle a variety of HR tasks, including advising on policies and procedures, managing employee relations cases, and supporting recruitment activities. The successful candidate will be adept at working independently, communicating effectively in a virtual environment, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and performance concerns.
• Support the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are up-to-date.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and services.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar HR generalist role.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work remotely.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
