About the Role
Our client is looking for a specialized HR Business Partner with a strong focus on Employee Relations to support their workforce in Sheffield . This role will be dedicated to managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, advising management on best practices, and fostering a positive and compliant workplace environment. You will play a critical role in interpreting and applying HR policies, conducting investigations, and ensuring fair and consistent treatment for all employees. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with a passion for ER and a strong understanding of employment law.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance on complex employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary procedures, and disputes.
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints and concerns.
- Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and promote positive employee relations.
- Partner with line managers to proactively identify and address potential employee relations risks.
- Advise on appropriate resolution strategies for employee relations issues.
- Contribute to training initiatives aimed at developing managers' ER capabilities.
- Stay abreast of changes in employment law and ensure company practices remain compliant.
Requirements
- Substantial experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Advisor with a proven track record in Employee Relations.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, particularly regarding employee relations, grievances, and dismissals.
- Strong investigation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make objective decisions.
- Experience in developing and delivering ER-related training.
