About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and dedicated HR Business Partner to support their operations in Birmingham . You will act as a key point of contact for employees and management, providing expert HR advice and guidance on a range of issues. This role requires a hands-on approach, focusing on building strong relationships and driving HR initiatives that support business goals and employee engagement. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive and compliant work environment, contributing to the overall success of the business unit you support.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with department heads to understand their HR needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures across assigned business areas.
- Assist in recruitment processes, including job profiling, candidate selection, and onboarding.
- Contribute to the development and execution of HR projects and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation in the UK .
Requirements
- Experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR generalist role.
- Solid understanding of HR principles, UK employment law, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to HR challenges.
- Relevant degree or professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD).
