About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable HR Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations across their operations, working remotely. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity and legality of HR practices, conducting audits, and developing compliance frameworks. You will act as the primary point of contact for compliance-related matters, advising the HR team and leadership on best practices and risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
• Conduct regular audits of HR practices and records to identify potential compliance risks.
• Stay abreast of changes in employment legislation and advise the organisation on necessary adjustments.
• Manage and respond to regulatory inquiries and investigations.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees and management.
• Oversee data protection compliance (e.g., GDPR) within HR operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Compliance Officer or in a similar HR role with a strong focus on compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.
• Experience in conducting HR audits and developing compliance strategies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of clear guidance.
