About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and versatile HR Generalist to join their team in Derby . This role is crucial for providing comprehensive HR support to employees and management, encompassing a wide range of HR functions including employee relations, recruitment, and policy implementation. You will play a key role in fostering a positive employee experience and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role is based at our office in Derby , offering a hands-on and collaborative working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and staff.
• Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent and fair application across the organization.
• Support performance management cycles, including goal setting and appraisal processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement and development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role with broad responsibilities.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in managing employee relations and recruitment processes.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in an office-based environment in Derby .
