HR Manager - Employee Relations

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned HR Manager with a specialization in Employee Relations to lead these critical functions in Sheffield . This role will involve developing and implementing strategies to foster a positive, fair, and productive work environment. You will be responsible for managing complex employee relations issues, advising senior management on risk mitigation, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws. This is a senior position for an experienced HR professional who can navigate challenging situations and build strong, trusting relationships across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and champion employee relations strategies and policies.
• Lead and manage all aspects of grievance, disciplinary, and dispute resolution processes.
• Conduct thorough investigations into workplace complaints and provide objective recommendations.
• Advise senior leadership and managers on employee relations best practices and legal compliance.
• Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, foster a positive culture, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure adherence to UK employment law and company HR policies.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a senior HR Manager role with a strong focus on Employee Relations.
• Deep knowledge of UK employment law, industrial relations, and best practices in ER.
• Proven ability to conduct complex investigations and manage sensitive employee issues.
• Excellent negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent professional HR certification.
