HR Manager / People & Culture Manager
Location: Milton Keynes & Northampton
Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and commercially minded HR / People & Culture Manager to join a growing, purpose-driven organisation during an exciting period of transformational change.
Who are we?
Our client is a well-established charity with sites in Milton Keynes and Northampton. This is a hands-on HR role where you’ll be a trusted partner to managers, helping shape culture, support employees and drive positive change.
Benefits:
£40,000 - £45,000 DOE
Permanent, full-time position
37.5 hours per week
4 days Milton Keynes / 1 day Northampton
Fully office-based

Duties of a People & Culture Manager:
Provide HR advice and guidance across the organisation
Manage Employee Relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance
Lead recruitment, onboarding and inductions
Coach and support managers
Advise on UK employment law and HR best practice
Support employee engagement and culture initiatives
Improve HR processes and ways of working
Support organisational change and wider People & Culture projects
Build strong relationships across the organisation
What we would like from you:
Strong operational HR experience
Solid Employee Relations experience
CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience
Good knowledge of UK employment law
Commercially minded, proactive and confident
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Solutions-focused with the ability to use initiative
Organised, resilient and comfortable working at pace
Someone who can balance empathy with accountability
