About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven HR Manager to lead their HR function in Edinburgh . This senior role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services that support the company's strategic objectives and foster a positive organisational culture. You will manage a small HR team and work closely with senior management to develop and implement HR policies and initiatives. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to be a key leader, blending essential face-to-face collaboration in the historic city of Edinburgh with the benefits of remote work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's HR strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all UK employment laws and regulations, staying abreast of legislative changes.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
- Manage significant HR projects, such as policy reviews, system implementations, and organisational change.
Requirements
- Substantial experience (7+ years) in HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record in strategic HR planning and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing HRIS and HR budgets.
- CIPD Level 7 qualification is essential.
