HR Manager
Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be partnering with long-established, family-owned and nationally operating food manufacturing business in the recruitment of a HR Manager on a 20 hour working week to join their headquarters based in Monaghan.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a HR Professional seeking a role that offers part-time and flexible working hours or a step up in their HR career whilst having full autonomy across the HR Remit and receiving direct support from the Managing Director and Senior Management team.

What will you do as HR Manager?
- Main HR contact for employees and managers, providing advice and support on employee relations matters, including absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance and investigations.
- Manage the full recruitment process including job descriptions, advertising, interviews, selection, contracts, onboarding and induction.
- Provide payroll backup and support, while maintaining accurate employee records, contracts, absence and leave records and HR documentation.
- Take ownership of the HRIS System, ensuring employee, attendance, leave and absence information is accurate and up to date.
- Ensure HR practices comply with Irish employment legislation and maintain up-to-date HR policies, procedures and documentation.
- Coordinate induction, mandatory training and employee development whilst maintaining appropriate training records.
- Support employee engagement, retention and wellbeing initiatives, improve communication and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Work closely with management and operational teams to ensure HR supports the needs and objectives of the business.
- Review and improve HR processes, systems, onboarding, performance management, training and employee engagement.
- Use HR data and reporting to identify trends, support management decision-making and introduce more efficient and consistent ways of working.
What will you require as HR Manager?
- Proven experience as HR Generalist or HR Manager
- Skilled in utilising HR/ Payroll systems, conducting end to end recruitment administration and liaising with payroll
- Experienced in developing HR policies, procedures and managing on employee relations cases
- Preferable to have experience in food manufacturing, engineering, retail or a construction business
- Desirable to have CIPD or HR Qualification
