About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to oversee all human resources operations in their Manchester office. This leadership role is crucial for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and foster a supportive work environment. You will manage a team of HR professionals, ensuring the efficient delivery of HR services, and act as a key advisor to senior management on all people-related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in HR management and a passion for employee development and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives in alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing department.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UK employment legislation and company policies.
- Implement HR policies and procedures to improve organizational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a senior HR role, such as HR Manager or senior HR Business Partner.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practices, and strategic HR management.
- Proven ability to lead and manage an HR team effectively.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate HR initiatives into tangible business outcomes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
