About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly capable and experienced HR Manager to lead their Human Resources function in the historic city of Oxford . This role is key to developing and implementing HR strategies that support the organisation's growth and foster a positive employee culture. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, from talent acquisition and employee relations to performance management and compliance, contributing significantly to the success of the business in Oxfordshire . Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, talent management, and retention programmes to attract and keep high-calibre employees.
- Manage employee relations, including resolving grievances, conducting investigations, and ensuring fair disciplinary processes.
- Ensure compliance with all UK employment laws and HR regulations.
- Develop and administer compensation and benefits programmes to remain competitive.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team and support line managers in all HR-related matters.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in a senior HR management role, preferably within the UK market.
- Proven track record in strategic HR planning, talent management, and employee relations.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and HR analytics.
- CIPD qualification (Level 7) or equivalent is highly desirable for this role in Oxford .
