About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead their Human Resources department in Leicester . This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and performance management. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives and foster a positive and productive work environment. You will be a key point of contact for employees and management, providing expert guidance and support on a wide range of HR matters, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the overall business strategy.
• Oversee the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new employees.
• Manage employee relations, addressing grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution effectively.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and compliant.
• Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and professional development planning.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant UK employment legislation and regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR role.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience with HR software and systems for payroll, HRIS, and recruitment.
• Strong understanding of talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
