About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources operations for their site in Coventry . This role is crucial in developing and implementing HR strategies that support the company's growth and operational efficiency, while fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will work closely with departmental managers to address their HR needs, from recruitment and onboarding to employee development and retention. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to blend strategic HR thinking with hands-on operational involvement, contributing to a culture that values its employees and supports their professional journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and employment legislation.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new employees.
- Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Implement and manage performance management systems and training & development programs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UK employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports on key HR metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or a senior HR role with significant responsibilities.
- Solid understanding of HR principles, best practices, and UK employment law.
- Experience in managing employee relations and resolving complex HR issues.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
