Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised HR Officer to support their Human Resources function in Southampton . This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the HR department, providing administrative and operational support to the wider HR team and employees. You will be involved in a variety of HR processes, including recruitment administration, onboarding, employee records management, and HR project support. Key Responsibilities
- Administer the recruitment process, including posting vacancies, screening CVs, and coordinating interviews.
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain employee records using the HR information system (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide HR administrative support to the HR team and assist line managers with HR queries.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives and projects as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR administrative or HR Officer role.
- Familiarity with HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee record keeping.
- Proficient in using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive attitude.
