About the Role
Our client is looking for an organised and proactive HR Officer to join their established Human Resources department in Oxford . This role provides comprehensive support across a range of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration. You will work closely with the HR team to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of HR services, contributing to a positive employee experience and supporting the achievement of organizational goals. Key Responsibilities
- Support the full recruitment lifecycle, from advertising roles to coordinating interviews and managing candidate communication.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliance requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Provide first-line HR support and advice to employees and line managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with the administration of employee relations cases, performance management processes, and HR projects.
- Contribute to HR reporting and analysis, providing data to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR Officer or HR Administrator role is required.
- Good working knowledge of core human resources functions and UK employment law.
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
