HR Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and proactive HR Officer to join their team, operating on a fully remote basis. This role will involve supporting the HR department in the day-to-day operational aspects of human resources, ensuring efficient and effective HR service delivery to employees across the company. You will handle a variety of HR tasks, including employee relations support, recruitment administration, and maintaining HR systems, all within a remote-first structure. Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational HR support across various functions, including employee relations, recruitment, and HR administration.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes effectively for remote staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and HRIS data.
• Support the recruitment lifecycle, from advertising vacancies to pre-employment checks.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Handle employee queries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.

Requirements

• Experience as an HR Officer or in a similar HR generalist role.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification is desirable.
