About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented HR Officer to join their established team based in Manchester . This is an office-based role where you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day operations of the HR department. You will be responsible for a variety of HR functions, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of HR services to support the organization's workforce. This role requires a proactive approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards in all HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the employee lifecycle, from onboarding new hires to processing leavers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Administer payroll and benefits processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all related information.
- Provide HR support and guidance to employees and line managers on HR policies, procedures, and contractual matters.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR information system (HRIS), ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including advertising vacancies, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
- Support the HR team in implementing HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, and compliance activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR Officer or similar HR administrative role.
- Sound knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in using HRIS and other HR software.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive working relationships.
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent qualification is desirable.
