About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive HR Operations Specialist to enhance their Human Resources function in Birmingham . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the HR department, focusing on HRIS management, payroll support, and compliance. You will be instrumental in maintaining accurate employee records, administering HR policies, and providing essential support to both employees and managers. Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Support the payroll process by coordinating with the finance department and ensuring timely updates.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an HR administration or HR operations role.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and UK employment regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
