HR Officer – Recruitment & Resourcing
Location: Delamere House, Crewe
Contract: Temporary
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Officer to join the HR Operations team, with a strong focus on recruitment, resourcing and workforce support across the Council and Schools.
Key Responsibilities
*
Support the delivery of the Workforce Strategy, with a particular focus on effective recruitment, resourcing and retention.
*
Provide HR support to managers and services throughout the end-to-end recruitment and selection process.
*
Advise managers on recruitment processes, policies, procedures and best practice.
*
Support recruitment and selection activity, ensuring appointments are made fairly, consistently and in line with organisational procedures.
*
Work closely with managers and HR colleagues to understand workforce requirements and identify appropriate resourcing solutions.
*
Provide wider HR advice across areas including attendance management, redeployment, employee relations and HR policies.
*
Support managers with HR casework, including discipline, grievance and capability matters.
*
Provide advice on employment legislation, HR policies, procedures and terms and conditions.
*
Analyse workforce information and provide accurate HR data and management information to support workforce planning and recruitment decisions.
About You
*
Experience providing HR advice and guidance across a range of HR activities.
*
Strong knowledge of recruitment and selection processes.
*
Good understanding of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
