HSE Advisor - Oil & Gas

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join their fully remote team, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environment across their Oil & Gas operations. This role is critical for developing and implementing robust HSE policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture. You will work collaboratively with operational teams and management to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures across all operational areas.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, determining root causes and implementing preventive measures.
• Provide HSE training and guidance to employees and contractors.
• Monitor compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and champion best practices throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HSE professional in the Oil & Gas industry .
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations, risk management techniques, and safety management systems.
• Excellent communication, training, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment .
