About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and diligent HSE Advisor to support their operations. This role, which can be based remotely with travel to operational sites as needed, focuses on ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental performance across projects. You will be responsible for implementing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, promoting a positive safety culture, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Your proactive approach will be key to minimizing risks and ensuring the well-being of all personnel involved in our client's activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Conduct site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, reporting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Deliver HSE training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
- Advise project management on HSE matters and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
- Proven experience as an HSE professional in the oil and gas or a related industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel to operational sites as required.
