HTS Magnet Technology Lead for Fusion STEP

UK Fusion Energy (UKFE) Ltd. is seeking a lead for the HTS magnet technology development programme to realise STEP’s HTS magnet system. You will oversee the STEP HTS small test coil, short cable, and magnet materials programmes, delivering plans at pace with a multi-disciplinary team.

You will identify technology needs, execute targeted test campaigns with a 'fail fast' mentality, and be the key interface with the STEP power plant design team, expanding collaboration and HTS capability globally.
