HVAC Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified HVAC Engineer to join their team, servicing clients primarily in the Leeds, West Yorkshire area. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for a diverse range of commercial and domestic properties. You will be instrumental in ensuring optimal climate control and air quality for our clients, providing essential technical expertise. This is a key position that offers the chance to work with modern HVAC technologies and contribute to a comfortable and healthy indoor environment across West Yorkshire .

Key Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and control systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of existing HVAC units to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair faults in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
• Perform system checks, cleaning, and calibration of controls.
• Advise clients on energy efficiency improvements and system upgrades.
• Maintain accurate service reports and keep up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or technician.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems , including refrigeration cycles and electrical controls.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in HVAC engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret system diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be comfortable traveling to client sites around Leeds .
