Mobile HVAC Engineer - Birmingham
£40,000 - £45,000 DOE + Electric Van + Package
Permanent | No Call-Out Rota
An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Mobile HVAC Engineer to join a leading main contractor, supporting a blue-chip retail client across five sites in the Birmingham area.
This is a varied, client-facing role offering plenty of autonomy. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive HVAC maintenance, fault finding and repairs, ensuring each site remains fully operational and compliant.
What's on offer?
£40,000 - £45,000 DOE
Company electric van and fuel card
Phone and laptop provided
Core hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
No call-out rota
Overtime available
Five sites across Birmingham
Stable, long-term contract
The Role
Planned and reactive HVAC maintenance
Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
Maintaining commercial heating, gas and refrigeration systems
Managing your own workload across multiple sites
Building strong relationships with the client
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' relevant HVAC experience
Commercial Gas qualifications - essential
Refrigeration qualification - essential
Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
Confident working independently
Good communication and client-facing skills
Retail experience preferred but not essential
Process
There is a two-stage interview process, with an April start planned.
