About the Role
Our client requires a skilled HVAC Installation Engineer to join their dynamic team, focusing on the installation and commissioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial clients in the Reading area. You will be responsible for ensuring that new systems are installed to the highest standards, meeting all technical specifications and client requirements. This role demands technical expertise, precision, and a strong understanding of HVAC principles. You will work closely with project managers and clients to ensure seamless installation projects, contributing to the company's reputation for quality and reliability in the HVAC sector within Berkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission a wide range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and heating equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals to ensure correct system setup.
- Perform necessary pipework, ductwork, and electrical connections for HVAC systems.
- Conduct system testing, balancing, and performance checks post-installation.
- Ensure all installations comply with relevant building regulations and safety standards.
- Provide clients with handover information and basic operational guidance on installed systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installation Engineer or similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration cycles, airflow, and ductwork design.
- Relevant qualifications in HVAC or refrigeration engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent practical skills and attention to detail for precise installations.
- Must possess a valid UK driving license and be able to operate efficiently within the Reading region.
