HVAC Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client requires a skilled HVAC Installation Engineer to join their growing team in Leeds . This hybrid role involves a combination of on-site installation and system configuration at client premises and remote planning, design review, and technical support. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and effective installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and residential properties. This position is ideal for a professional who excels in both practical application and technical planning, contributing to the comfort and efficiency of buildings across West Yorkshire and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and control units.
• Perform system testing and balancing to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Read and interpret HVAC blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during installation and post-commissioning phases.
• Provide clients with clear explanations of system operation and basic maintenance requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to ensure project success from planning to completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, air distribution, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Gas Safe, F-Gas) are highly desirable.
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
