HVAC Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a competent HVAC Installation Engineer to join their dynamic team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for a variety of clients. You will ensure that systems are installed to the highest standards, providing optimal comfort and efficiency for end-users. Working as part of the Installation & Maintenance department, you will contribute to delivering excellent service, with a hybrid work model that blends on-site installations with remote planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission new HVAC systems, including ductwork, boilers, air conditioning units, and associated controls.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing on existing HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in HVAC systems, providing timely and effective repairs.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications for installation and maintenance work.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with current regulations and safety standards.
• Provide technical advice and support to clients regarding system operation and maintenance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Installation Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical controls, and mechanical systems related to HVAC.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools for HVAC systems.
• F-Gas certification is essential for handling refrigerants.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
