About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join their dynamic team based in Coventry . This role is essential for ensuring the seamless installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties across the region. You will work closely with project managers and clients to deliver high-quality installations that meet all safety and performance standards. This is a hands-on position for an individual passionate about mechanical systems and committed to providing excellent workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain various types of HVAC systems, including boilers, furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation units.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform system testing and balancing to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair existing HVAC systems, identifying and resolving faults.
- Ensure all installations comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Provide clear explanations to clients regarding system operation, maintenance, and warranty information.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar installation role.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems , tools, and testing equipment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Gas Safe registration for relevant work) are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in varying site conditions.
