HVAC Installation Technician

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join their growing team in Coventry . This role is essential for ensuring the successful and efficient installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. You will work directly with clients, project managers, and fellow technicians to deliver high-quality installations that meet all regulatory and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems , including boilers, air conditioners, ventilation units, and associated pipework.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals to ensure accurate system setup.
• Perform pressure testing, leak detection, and system balancing to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and building codes during all installation and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process, providing effective solutions.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain work performed and provide guidance on system usage and care.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar installation role.
• Solid understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical components, and building automation systems.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools specific to the HVAC trade.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively to meet project deadlines in Coventry .
• Good physical condition to handle the demands of the role, including working in various environments and lifting heavy equipment.
• Relevant certifications, such as Gas Safe registration (if applicable) or NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, are highly desirable.
