Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer HVAC systems for new builds and retrofitting projects, considering energy efficiency and building codes.
• Prepare detailed HVAC design drawings, specifications, and calculations using relevant software.
• Oversee the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring they are implemented according to design and quality standards.
• Conduct site surveys and performance testing of existing systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and project managers to ensure integrated building services.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HVAC-related issues during construction and operation.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in HVAC.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design and project engineering.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, IES VE).
• Solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and building physics.
• Knowledge of relevant building regulations and environmental standards.
• Experience in energy modeling and sustainable building design is advantageous.
