HVAC Service Engineer

About the Role

Our client requires a skilled HVAC Service Engineer to join their team, serving clients throughout the Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire region. This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial and domestic settings. You will be responsible for diagnosing system faults, carrying out necessary repairs, and ensuring optimal system performance and energy efficiency. This role is critical for maintaining comfortable and safe environments for our clients' customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including boilers, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
• Provide customers with detailed reports on work performed and recommendations for future maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards related to HVAC work.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Service Engineer or similar role.
• Relevant certifications and qualifications in HVAC systems (e.g., F-Gas).
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical principles related to HVAC.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Full UK driving license and ability to travel within the Stoke-on-Trent area.
