Hydraulic Engineer

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join our small, friendly, family-run business. This role is a mix of on-site work and time in our well-equipped workshop, offering variety, stability, and long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

• Fault-finding, repair & assembly of hydraulic hoses/systems
• Hydraulic and mechanical servicing and repairs to vehicles, plant, and machinery
• Managing and maintaining a mobile service unit
• Hydraulic cylinder repairs (training provided if required)
• Working independently on site while representing the company professionally
• Completing paperwork and processing customer orders accurately
• Providing trade counter support when required

The Ideal Candidate

• Practical, hands-on, and confident fault-finding skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused - takes pride in producing high quality, reliable work
• Full UK driving licence required
• Mechanical or hydraulic experience preferred, but training can be provided for the right person

Working Hours

• Mon–Thurs: 8:00am – 5:30pm
• Fri: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Sat: 8:00am – 12:00pm (2 on, 1 off)
