About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent Hygiene Operative Supervisor to join their team in Milton Keynes , responsible for maintaining pristine hygiene standards in commercial and potentially light industrial facilities. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead by example, ensuring their team delivers exceptional cleaning services. The supervisor will be responsible for daily operational oversight, quality control, and staff management, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This position is crucial for maintaining client satisfaction and operational integrity, requiring a strong commitment to hygiene excellence and team leadership within the Milton Keynes area.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide a team of hygiene operatives, ensuring all cleaning duties are performed to the highest standards.
- Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for assigned sites.
- Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene protocols and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels and proper maintenance.
- Provide on-the-job training and ongoing support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Address any client feedback or operational issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a cleaning or hygiene-focused role.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials, and health and safety regulations, particularly COSHH.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work flexibly to meet operational demands, potentially including some remote oversight.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high standards.
