About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Hygiene Team Lead to guide their cleaning and sanitation efforts in Cambridge , utilising a hybrid working model. You will be responsible for leading a team of hygiene operatives, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and safety of the premises. This role involves a combination of on-site supervision and leadership, along with remote coordination and planning, making it ideal for an organised individual who can effectively manage both people and processes. Your role is vital in maintaining a positive and healthy environment for everyone on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of hygiene operatives, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
• Conduct on-site quality checks and provide feedback to team members.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating cleaning activities, both on-site and remotely.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or hygiene role, with some leadership or supervisory experience.
• Good knowledge of cleaning methods and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities.
