In-House Commercial Lawyer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and adaptable In-House Commercial Lawyer to join their legal team in Bristol . This role is vital for managing the company's commercial contracts, advising on regulatory matters, and supporting the sales and procurement functions. You will be instrumental in ensuring that business operations are conducted in a legally sound and commercially advantageous manner. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts , including NDAs, SLAs, and supply agreements.
• Advise business stakeholders on contractual risks and obligations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant consumer protection and commercial laws.
• Assist with intellectual property matters and brand protection.
• Support the procurement team in drafting and negotiating supplier contracts.
• Manage and resolve routine commercial disputes.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales with a minimum of 3 years' PQE.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts is essential.
• Familiarity with general commercial law and consumer rights legislation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain legal concepts clearly.
• A practical, business-focused approach to legal advice.
