In-House Counsel - Remote

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced In-House Counsel to join their legal department, operating on a fully remote basis. Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, ensuring favorable terms and mitigating legal risks.
• Provide timely and pragmatic legal advice on a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial matters.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation, liaising with external counsel as necessary.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to ensure company-wide compliance.
• Advise on intellectual property protection, data privacy, and employment law issues.
• Support various departments, including sales, marketing, and HR, with their legal needs.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a current UK practising certificate.
• Minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience, preferably with experience in a corporate or in-house legal setting.
• Solid understanding of commercial law, contract law, and data protection regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a varied workload effectively in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and common office software.
