In-House Counsel - Remote

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced In-House Counsel to join their fully remote legal team, serving the Birmingham area and beyond. This role is crucial for providing comprehensive legal support across various business functions, including commercial contracts, intellectual property, and compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements and contracts.
• Advise on intellectual property matters, including trademark and patent protection.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations across all business operations.
• Conduct legal risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide legal support for new business initiatives and product development.
• Manage external legal resources and litigation as necessary.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in England and Wales with a valid practicing certificate.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an in-house counsel or in a relevant law firm practice.
• Strong understanding of contract law, commercial litigation, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse legal caseload independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, suited for remote collaboration.
