About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned In-House Counsel to join their fully remote legal team, supporting their operations from any UK location. This is a key strategic position requiring broad legal expertise to advise on complex commercial, regulatory, and corporate matters. You will play an integral role in shaping the company’s legal strategy and ensuring robust compliance frameworks are in place. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of business operations, including commercial contracts, IP, and data protection.
• Oversee and manage litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate significant commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.
• Advise the board and senior management on legal risks and opportunities.
• Develop and implement legal policies and training programs across the organisation.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with substantial experience (7+ years) in a relevant legal field.
• Proven expertise in corporate law, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a demanding workload in a remote setting.
• Experience with global operations and multi-jurisdictional issues is a plus.
