In-House Legal Advisor

About the Role

Our client seeks a highly competent In-House Legal Advisor to provide essential legal support to their operations. This is a primarily remote-based role , offering the flexibility to work from home across the UK. You will be integral to advising on a wide array of legal matters, including contract negotiation, compliance, intellectual property, and dispute resolution, ensuring the company operates within legal frameworks. This position is ideal for a proactive legal professional eager to make a substantial impact within a forward-thinking organization, contributing to its strategic objectives and mitigating risks effectively. Working remotely requires strong self-discipline and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements, supply contracts, and terms of service.
• Advise business stakeholders on regulatory compliance and risk management strategies.
• Manage and oversee any ongoing litigation or disputes, working with external counsel when necessary.
• Protect and manage the company's intellectual property portfolio.
• Develop and implement internal legal policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal standards.
• Provide legal training and guidance to non-legal staff on key compliance and contractual issues.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial contract law and corporate governance.
• Strong understanding of compliance, intellectual property, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a practical approach to legal advice.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, essential for a remote role.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
