In-House Legal Counsel

About the Role

A dynamic and growing international company is looking for a proactive In-House Legal Counsel to join their team based in Belfast . This role offers a broad range of responsibilities, providing essential legal support across various business functions, including commercial contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. You will be an integral part of the company's growth strategy, offering pragmatic legal advice and working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to mitigate risk and facilitate business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, service contracts, and NDAs.
• Advise on corporate governance matters and assist with board meetings and statutory filings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including data protection and employment law.
• Provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions as required.
• Manage external legal counsel and litigation matters when necessary.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE, with experience in commercial law.
• In-house legal experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
