Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and commission automated control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics, P&IDs, and sequence of operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software issues related to automated equipment.
- Implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce downtime, and enhance product quality through automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new automation solutions into existing production lines.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff and operators on automated systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial automation engineering.
- Proficiency in programming various PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI development.
- Experience with robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA) and industrial networking.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, control theory, and instrumentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
