About the Role

Our client is seeking a robust and experienced Industrial Cleaner to join their operational team in Coventry . This vital role involves maintaining the cleanliness and safety of industrial facilities, including manufacturing plants and warehouses, ensuring compliance with stringent health and safety regulations. You will work with specialized cleaning equipment and potentially hazardous materials, requiring a high level of care and attention. Key Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning of industrial machinery, floors, and equipment using appropriate methods and tools.
• Manage the safe handling, storage, and disposal of industrial waste and chemicals.
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and address potential hazards or sanitation issues.
• Operate specialized cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, industrial vacuums, and floor scrubbers.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed rigorously, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and any incidents or maintenance requests.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an industrial or heavy-duty cleaning environment.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations pertinent to industrial cleaning (e.g., COSHH).
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining industrial cleaning machinery.
• Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role, often in challenging environmental conditions.
• Strong understanding of the correct use and disposal of industrial cleaning agents.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
