About the Role

Our client requires a dedicated Industrial Cleaner to ensure the cleanliness and safety of industrial facilities in and around Birmingham . This role is vital for maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with stringent health and safety standards inherent in industrial environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for specialized cleaning tasks, waste management, and ensuring all work areas are free from hazards. This is a hands-on role demanding physical fitness and a meticulous approach to sanitation, contributing significantly to a productive and safe working atmosphere for all personnel on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cleaning of industrial machinery, equipment, and workspaces, including hard-to-reach areas.
• Manage and dispose of industrial waste, hazardous materials, and chemicals safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as required, such as degreasing surfaces, pressure washing, and sanitizing production lines.
• Maintain cleanliness in associated areas like warehouses, locker rooms, and site offices within the industrial setting .
• Operate specialized cleaning equipment, ensuring it is maintained in good working order.
• Follow strict safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an industrial cleaning role or similar demanding environment is essential.
• Proficiency in handling and disposing of industrial chemicals and waste materials safely.
• Ability to operate and maintain various types of industrial cleaning machinery.
