About the Role
Our client seeks a skilled Industrial Cleaning Specialist to join their operations team in Birmingham . This role is essential for maintaining the safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency of industrial facilities. You will be responsible for deep cleaning, sanitisation, and waste management in demanding environments, ensuring compliance with stringent health and safety standards. This is a hands-on position for an individual who takes pride in their work and understands the critical role of cleanliness in industrial settings, contributing to a well-managed and productive workplace within the West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform specialized cleaning tasks in manufacturing plants , warehouses, and production areas.
- Operate industrial cleaning machinery and equipment, such as pressure washers and floor scrubbers.
- Implement and manage waste disposal and recycling programs in accordance with regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address cleaning needs and potential hazards.
- Ensure all cleaning activities meet health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Sanitize machinery and equipment to prevent contamination and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or a related field.
- Proficiency in using industrial cleaning equipment and understanding chemical applications.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and COSHH.
- Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks in a potentially challenging environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage cleaning schedules effectively.
