About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Cleaning Specialist to join their team in Liverpool . This role involves undertaking specialized cleaning tasks in demanding industrial environments, including factories, workshops, and manufacturing plants. You will be responsible for the safe and effective use of specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals to maintain high levels of hygiene and operational readiness. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of industrial machinery, equipment, and premises.
• Utilize specialized cleaning techniques and equipment suitable for industrial settings.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including COSHH and site-specific rules.
• Handle and dispose of industrial waste and chemicals safely and responsibly.
• Conduct pre- and post-cleaning inspections to ensure all standards are met.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning or a similar heavy-duty cleaning role.
• Proficiency in operating industrial cleaning machinery (e.g., pressure washers, industrial vacuums).
• In-depth knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals and their safe application.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, particularly in industrial environments.
• Ability to work physically demanding tasks and in challenging conditions.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and cleaning.
