About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Cleaning Technician to join their team in Birmingham . You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment within industrial facilities, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques. Key Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning of industrial machinery, equipment, and production areas according to established protocols.
• Operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment, such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and vacuum systems.
• Safely handle and dispose of industrial waste and hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify and address potential cleaning or safety hazards.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule cleaning activities with minimal disruption to operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an industrial cleaner or in a similar hands-on cleaning role.
• Proficiency in operating various industrial cleaning machines and tools.
• Understanding of industrial hygiene standards and safety procedures, including COSHH.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in demanding environments, potentially including confined spaces or heights.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
