Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized cleaning of industrial equipment, machinery, and facilities using appropriate tools and chemicals.

• Conduct routine and emergency cleaning tasks, such as spill containment and cleanup, and deep cleaning of production areas.
• Operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment, such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and vacuum systems.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to schedule cleaning activities that minimize disruption to production schedules.
• Document cleaning activities, material usage, and any identified hazards or issues.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an industrial cleaner or in a similar hands-on cleaning role.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations within an industrial setting, including COSHH awareness.
• Proficiency in operating various industrial cleaning machinery and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail for effective hazard identification.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime or shift work as required by operational needs.
