Our client is seeking a passionate Industrial Engineer focused on Continuous Improvement to join their team in Plymouth . Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operational processes.
- Utilize lean manufacturing tools and methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S) to identify and eliminate waste.
- Analyze process data to identify trends, root causes of problems, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans for process enhancements, ensuring successful adoption and sustainability.
- Train and mentor employees at all levels on continuous improvement principles and techniques.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and report on progress towards operational excellence goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role with a strong focus on continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
- Proven experience in facilitating Kaizen events and driving lean transformations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify root causes.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management principles is a plus.
