About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineer focused on Manufacturing Excellence to join their team in Bristol . This role is instrumental in driving improvements in production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness within their manufacturing facilities. You will analyze current processes, implement best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement among the production teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing principles and a passion for optimizing complex industrial environments, contributing to strategic operational goals and enhanced product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Design and implement optimized workflows, layouts, and material handling systems.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to reduce waste, streamline operations, and enhance productivity.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practice documentation.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure successful implementation of process changes.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience applying Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with CAD software and production planning systems is beneficial.
