Industrial Engineer - Operations Analysis

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to join their operations team in Bristol , working in a hybrid capacity. This role is essential for analysing operational data, identifying performance gaps, and developing practical solutions to improve efficiency and productivity across various departments. You will work closely with operational managers and team leaders to implement data-driven improvements and contribute to the overall success of the business through optimized processes and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process improvements using data-driven methodologies.
• Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning to optimize resource utilization.
• Create process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials for operational staff.
• Collaborate with department managers to understand operational challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Monitor the performance of implemented changes and provide ongoing support.
• Support the development and application of key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering or operations analysis role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, or similar.
• Experience with process mapping and flowcharting tools.
• Good understanding of operations management and manufacturing principles.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to work effectively in both an office and remote setting.
